The main cabinetry colour is a Laminex “Teak” with a Riven finish vertical grain colour board partnered with a contrasting feature using the Laminex “white” Riven finish vertical grain colour board to give the kitchen depth and variety along the cabinetry line. The clients choose to use a vibrant white high end 40mm finish Essastone benchtop giving it a fresh modern finish with a durable everyday use surface. No handles were used to allow a high end streamline look along the cabinetry line. Finger grip pulls with matching insert rails were used to create and polish of this streamline design.

The beautifully tiled splash back follows the same pattern as the featured coconut mosaic wall and the extra coconut mosaic that is featured on the island bench.

This kitchen was designed with a walk in pantry that also doubles as a small butler’s pantry. The left side of the pantry allows the owners to store their dry goods in a more “open plan” pantry style. The other side works great to keep all those electrical appliances like your toaster, coffee machine, blenders etc out of site but still allows you to easily access these appliances for everyday use and even allows for extra storage under the bench.

This kitchen is fitted out with cutlery trays, built in bins, a kitchen bench top bin and even an integrated fridge and freezer to the left hand side of the coconut mosaic feature wall.

The lazy Susan style unit fits nicely into corner cabinetry and is a great way to make use of all areas within your kitchen, and we all know that more storage space is what every kitchen needs!

What is this coconut mosaic you ask? Let me tell you how it all started!

When our clients first came to us with this idea of using coconut mosaic panels as a feature on not only the island bench but as a whole feature wall, we weren’t sure how we were going to tackle it so we could provide our clients with a quality high end finish. At Cabinetry Solutions we endeavour to stand out from other cabinet makers as a custom cabinetry designer and manufacturer, so we can offer our clients exclusive features and cabinetry finishes that they have either designed in their heads and or re designed something they have seen in a magazine.

The coconut mosaic panels from the NAVURBAN range definitely had its challenges but it was all worth it in the end. We had to achieve a clean line between all the panel joins around the feature wall and over the feature box on the island bench. This was not an easy task due to the mosaic tiles having a design that made the mosaic tiles uneven. Our experience cabinet makers and installers have done an outstanding job on working out a plan to mitre the panels so the joins of the mosaic tiles sit flush along the edges and count be mounted on a curved feature wall. I’m please to say that the clients are thrilled with the finished product and agree that our cabinet makers and installers did an exceptional job.

Located near the beautiful white sandy beach of Mudjimba on the Sunshine Coast this kitchen renovation was definitely designed to bring that fresh sea air and holiday feel into heart of the house.

At Cabinetry Solutions we love to see our clients become creative and involved in the design of the kitchen. One of our missions is for our clients to be completely happy and satisfied with the finish project and feel at home in a kitchen that suites their style, décor and or personality.

The owners have been very creative with the design on this kitchen and have built the colour palette around their feature panels on the island bench. The photos definitely do not do it justice and I was completely wowed when I walked into this kitchen to see the completed kitchen.

On one side of the island bench the 20 mm Essastone "New Crystal Salt" bench is finished off with a waterfall end, flowing through from there the colourful panelling wraps around the front and finishes around the corner of the island giving visitors a sneak peak of the stunning panelling along the front of the island bench.

Hidden pull out waste bins, deluxe soft close drawers, handles and cool white downlights are just a few of the features that make this kitchen functional and enjoyable to use for everyday living and entertaining.

Take a look through the album to have a closer look at the feature panelling on the island and the gorgeous crisp white subway tile splashback.
